A-Z Guide

Alcoholic Beverage:
Florida state law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21. Therefore, guests will be required to show proper identification and proof of age when buying alcoholic beverages. Please remember that it is illegal to drive under the influence of an intoxicant or to consume alcoholic beverages while driving.

Animals:
Guide, sign, and signal dogs to aid guests with disabilities are the only animals permitted in the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville . Whenever possible, please advise ballpark staff of your planned attendance by calling (904) 358-2846.

Art in Public Places:
Barbara Grygutis was commissioned to create a work of art for the Jacksonville Baseball Grounds. Her sculpture, Rookie Card is a 25-foot high aluminum sculpture evoking a trade card silhouette of a baseball player. Measuring 18 inches thick and constructed of perforated metal, Rookie Card is lit from within for nighttime impact and stands on a baseball diamond-shaped plaza featuring landscaping and benches made of cut granite to resemble large baseballs.

Banners:
Are allowed into the ballpark and cannot be of poor taste or a safety hazard. They cannot block the view of other patrons, be taped to walls, obstruct any signage, or other markings, and may not promote an organization or company. Banners/flags attached to poles are prohibited.

Concession Stands:
Satisfy your hunger at any of the six concession stands located in the ballpark.

Dugouts:
Be sure to cheer for the right team this season. Home dugouts are located on the third-base side!

Duplicate Tickets:
If duplicate tickets (two customers are holding tickets to the same seat for the same game) are presented, immediately contact a Section Specialist or proceed to the nearest Guest Services Booth for assistance

Family Restrooms:
Fans with children or disabled fans with companions may wish to use the Family Restrooms that are typically located adjacent to First Aid or Guest Service Booths. Smoking is not permitted in any restroom in the ballpark.

First Aid:
The first aid station is located on the first base side of the main concourse. If you have a medical emergency, please notify the nearest usher or Suns employee.

Giveaways:
Be sure to check the promotional schedule for special giveaway night. You can be one of the many fans who will receive a bobbing head doll, loud clapping sticks, a Suns replica road cap or jersey.

Guest Conduct:
The following behavior or activities are grounds for ejection from the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville:

  • Use of profanity or unacceptable language of any type.
  • Possession of illegal or unauthorized items inside the Ballpark.
  • Unacceptable or indecent dress.
  • Damaging or the intent to damage property of the Baseball Grounds Jacksonville.
  • Failure to obey or follow Ballpark smoking policies.
  • Use of illegal substances or drugs; Public drunkenness.
  • Entering or attempting to enter any "off limits" areas.
  • Participating in a fight.
  • Verbally abusing, threatening or intimidating other guests or employees.
  • The throwing of any objects or projectiles in seating areas.

Guests who fail to abide by Ballpark policies, state and federal law are subject to ejection from the facility. Any guest who is violating policy will be asked to correct their behavior and, if they fail to do so in a timely fashion, will be ejected. Individuals who have been ejected must vacate the property or be subject to arrest on trespassing charges.

K-9:
He's the most popular K-9 in town. SouthPaw! He's back and ready for baseball. SouthPaw does make special appearances, so if you want this canine at your next birthday or team Party, call the Suns at (904) 358-2846

LA-Dodgers:
Your Jacksonville Suns are the Class AA Affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Lost and Found:
Lost and found items should be taken to the Guest Services Booths. After each game, all items collected will be brought to Main Security Office. To locate a lost item, please call (904) 633-6114.

Lost Parents or Found Children:
Please visit one of the Guest Services Booths or Concierge desks to register your children or elderly guest and receive a wristband that states your section, row, and seat. Children who have lost their parents should be escorted to the closest Police Officer, Ticket Office Personnel or the nearest guest Services Booth. Paging is not allowed at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.

Be sure to check out The Perfect Game team store to purchase your very own Suns gear and merchandise.

Offices:
The Suns administrative offices are located on the main concourse of the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. Office hours during home games are from 9 a.m. until conclusion of the game. When the team is on the road, office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

On-Site Vending:
Non-licensed vending at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville, including the resale of event tickets is prohibited. Ballpark management will not permit vending, soliciting, collecting contributions for any purpose whatsoever or distributing of handbills on the premises.

Parking:
Public parking costs $5 and is controlled by the City of Jacksonville. Garage parking is also available next to the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena for $5.

Paging:
There will be no paging on the scoreboards, the message boards or the public address system.

Party Decks:
There's no better place to host an event then at the Jacksonville Baseball Grounds. Call a Suns representative to plan a fun and affordable outing. Enjoy the same atmosphere you remember and entertain your group of 20-100

Rain:
A little rain won't make you melt, so bring yourself and bring your umbrella! Suns games are played as long as weather conditions are safe for fans and players. Tickets for any game rained out or canceled can be exchanged for any regular season, non-restricted game, subject to availability.

Re-entry Policy:
Persons leaving the ballpark before or during the game will not be allowed back in under any circumstance.

Restrooms:
The Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville has 12 restrooms, located throughout the concourses. All restrooms include diaper-changing tables and are ADA accessible. Additionally, 4 Family Restrooms are available for use.

Run the Bases:
Sundays are Kid's Day! And this means that all kids ages 4 and up may run the bases with SouthPaw following most Sunday home games!

Skybox:
Enjoy a Jacksonville Suns game in grand style and comfort from the privacy of your very own Skybox. A nightly rental includes: 20 tickets for the game, air conditioned indoor seating and lounge plus open-air seating for 12, waitress service with menus ranging from traditional ball park food to elegant restaurant-style food and complimentary programs and press notes. Smoking:
Don't forget fans, Smoking is prohibited in the seating bowl. Help the Suns keep the stadium experience pleasurable for everyone.

Underage Drinking, Possession of Alcoholic Beverages
All guests in the building, who are identified as being under the age of 21 and in possession of alcohol, will be taken to the Security Office, ejected, and their parents or guardians will be notified for proper advisement. When necessary, they may be turned over to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Video Equipment
Videotaping equipment, including camcorders and audio tape recorders, is prohibited.

Come early, be loud, and stay late. That's right as long as the Suns are playing, the Grounds will be open.
